If I could give Lilies more stars, I would! I lost my dad earlier this year and Liliies looked after him for us, from the moment me and my sister met Mary, we knew this was where we wanted to bring Mom to meet them and the place we wanted our dad to spend his last moments. Everyone made this terrible time so comforting, to ring Mom and tell her they had picked up Dad from the hospital, it gave her so much comfort. The funeral went so well, for such a tough time, it was all done so beautifully. My biggest mention goes out to Nathan, thank you for walking alongside me and my sister at the Crem and keeping things light for us and thank you so much for everything you did in support of Mom, we will never forget how easy you made it for us all. I wish Google offered 6-star reviews. I have used this company, Lilies Funeral Directors. Unfortunately, my grandma passed away on 14/11/2025, and this company did everything to ensure my grandma was repatriated back home. The actual owner of the company, Lee, who himself is an [illegible word], managed to get everything done professionally and in a very quick manner. He was the one who coordinated with the other company back home to obtain the out-of-country forms and all other necessary papers for my grandmother to be repatriated back home. All the documents were completed very quickly, as my grandmother passed away on 14/11/25, and he managed to obtain all the necessary documents within one working day, which was Monday by lunchtime. Lee, if you see this, a huge thank you to you and your lovely colleagues.

Liles are amazing, when I went to view my Mom, I couldn't believe how good she looked. From start to finish Liles were so compassionate and caring. As far as the funeral goes, I couldn't fault the team. Just don't order a headstone through them as the stonemasons service is appalling and the communications were very laking. Extremely let down and disappointed on this aspect

Lilies are absolutely amazing and as a family we would now not look anywhere else for such services.We lost our dear Dad on 20th May and Lilies sorted everything out for us. Nothing was too much trouble. We arrived without an appointment, from another funeral directors who were not at all what we had hoped for and one of the owners, Lee, saw us straight away. He spent a very long time with us discussing options and reassuring us. He and Calum got everything in place and we had minimal duties to do, everything was made so much easier by their professional but also personal approach. When I saw Dad in the chapel he was immaculate and so much himself. I felt I had the best experience possible. The day of the funeral was conducted with utmost care and attention.We cannot thank Lilies enough for their exceptional service and we feel their charges are very reasonable for all they provide. At such a traumatic and distressing time for our family we were blessed to have these wonderful people who do an amazing job.

I'd just like to thank Lilies for arranging my mom's funeral. They were fantastic from start to finish. Calum was so efficient with all the relevant paperwork and made sure all our requests were carried out. He is a credit to the company. On the day Nathan was so kind and courteous. They kept me up-to-date with all the processes even with a call on the day with timings etc. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that finds themselves in this sad position. Lilies did a big help in repatriating my husband to India. As I was alone in UK, I was really worried of money and process involved in repatriation. But, Lilies were affordable and professional as well. My husband's body looked the same way he used to look when he was alive and that was even 20 days after his death. From the first phone call to them to the collection of her ashes from them Lilles were so kind and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. On the day of her funeral they contacted me first thing to go over everything, and knowing yellow was her favorite colour and that she wanted a colorful service they wore yellow ties and button holes-it was a lovely touch. Lilies was recommended to us by an Indian friend, who told us they specialised in overseas repatriations, and I am very pleased to say they did not disappoint.We lost my sister-in-law, who is from India, and it was very important to the family that she be repatriated and laid to rest in her mother's grave back home.Firstly, Lee Solomon, one of the owners, took the trouble to come personally all the way to our home to meet my wife.We appreciated hugely that he did, as it was a much-needed personal touch to anyone who's been bereaved, and showed he cared.Secondly, both he and his business partner, Nathan Scully, were extremely kind and helpful to my wife, which is very important when one is making funeral arrangements for a loved one.Thirdly, Mr Solomon very kindly offered to fill in all the forms himself, to submit to the Consulate, thus saving my wife the stress and hassle of having to fill in numerous forms, and worrying that she may not have filled them in correctly.I must mention here that this was in complete contrast to a number of other repatriation companies, all of whom insisted that my wife fill in the forms herself.Fourthly, all the arrangements and paperwork with the Indian Consulate at Birmingham were done very efficiently and speedily.Mr Solomon had earlier told my wife that he and his colleagues had a very good relationship with the Birmingham Consulate, who had even invited them to their Diwali celebrations.This is very important, as it shows that Lilies are well-versed in repatriations, unlike many other Companies purporting to be so, but who in reality are fairly clueless.The fact that they have an excellent relationship with Consular officials means that they do high volumes of repatriations (and hence know what they're doing), and also that they are efficient and honourable (otherwise Consular officials are unlikely to be so helpful).Overall I would say that Lilies made the process smooth and streamlined and stress-free, which is what one really wants from a funeral/repatriation service.Finally, I must contrast their entire working style and functioning (to their credit) with that of some of the better-known repatriation Companies that we had approached before we came to know about Lilies.These big Companies offered us a lower rate (by £250 to £500 or so), but their attitude and demeanour were in complete and utter contrast to that of Mr Solomon and Mr Scully.Unlike Lilies, they were cold and unhelpful, and would not (and/or could not) answer any questions put to them.They appeared to think we should hire them despite their appalling lack of courtesy and knowledge.We did not have a good feeling at all about placing my sister-in-law in their care.They also made the entire process seem unnecessarily complicated and convoluted.Mr Solomon, in stark contrast, patiently answered every single one of my wife's questions and doubts, which contributed to hugely allaying all of her worries and fears.He made the whole process simple and easy, and completely put to rest all of her anxieties.This last is very important to us as a family, as my wife has been seriously depressed ever since her sister's demise, and has had to be put on a high dose of antidepressant medication by her doctor.Mr Solomon's kind attitude and help, therefore, made the whole process much less stressful and unhappy for her than it otherwise would have been.I am very grateful to Lilies for this, and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone seeking to repatriate their deceased loved ones overseas.Indeed, I have already recommended them to several of my friends and acquaintances, who likewise have been very pleased with their service.

Lillies funeral did the Repartriation of my dear cousin to India. I can find no words to commend and thank them for the way they have handled the entire process. Right from the time I first contacted them till the time she was transferred to the care of airlines, Lee who was my point of contact was very proffesional, thorough, patient, courteous , kind and very helpful. After we registered the death with the council we didnt have to know anything. He managed the entire process. He was always available even at unsocial hours and their pricing was also very very reasonable. He took away a great chunk of our responsibility during these trying times. Excellent service received arranging my brother's funeral from Donna. On the day of the funeral, Lee and his team went over and above what was expected. They looked after us taking the stress out of the day. I have never had to arrange a funeral before the loss of my darling husband. From the initial phone call to Lilies, through to the actual day, nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were welcoming and professional but above all, caring and compassionate. From the very first telephone call to Lilies to say that my Father had died, throughout the process of arranging the funeral, and on the day of the funeral itself, the service we received was absolutely superb. Respectful and helpful at all times, I as an individual and we as a family cannot recommend Lilies highly enough. A huge thanks to all at Lilies Funeral Directors who recently arranged the funeral of my late mother. I had never been in this position before and was of course apprehensive but the team at Lilies could not have made the process any easier. They were of course, kind, caring and compassionate but I was so impressed by the way that they dealt with absolutely everything. All of the questions I had and the details I was worried about were just sorted with no fuss. And on the day they were calm, in control and had an air of gentle reassurance, allowing us to focus on remembering Mum. There was noting to worry about. Thank you again.

Having worked with Lilies funeral directors in a professional capacity, I knew that they cared deeply . My lovely dad passed away 8 weeks ago and I can never thank Lee, Nathan, Dean, Connor,Calum and Donna , they looked after my dad and us as a family 5⭐️is not enough.Everything was done with great care and compassion, we felt that we were the only family they were looking after.The day of the service was seamless and flowers from your birmingham florist were amazing too. My mum unfortunately passed away on Friday 15th October and after researching, reading reviews and talking to Callum (the Funeral Manager), there was no doubt in my mind that I would appoint Lilies to take care of the proceedings. Callum explained things in a kind and sensitive way during what was a very difficult time. At the time of mum's passing Dean and Elvis arrived within an hour to pick her up. They were very sensitive and handled mum with gentleness and respect. I expressed a wish for mum to be repatriated to Jamaica and Callum handled the whole process with a professionalism that was beyond exemplary. He informed me of developments every step of the way and was always willing to answer any queries I had. I cannot recommend Lilies enough. Thank you so much and please keep up the good work!

From the first contact with Lilies and talking to Callum we had nothing but first class treatment. The stress of the organisation of our special day for my brother was taken over with care and made stress free. We were treated with respect and sympathy and the limousine was beautiful. Throughout the process of arranging the Expatriation to India for our grandmother Mary, we were very pleased with the service we received from Lee & his team. He always allowed us time and we never felt hurried, very important to us at this very sad and difficult time. He guided us through the process very sensitively which we valued highly. He had a good working relationship with the officials and authorities and who had to clear number of papers & permits to take back our grandmother back to India to be buried in our home parish as per her last wish. Lee made sure that we had everything we asked for, he was very kind and understanding. He was very flexible and always kept us updated on the progress of the process during this pandemic.We would like to send a special thank you to Lee & Team who were truly amazing.We would highly recommend them.

Cannot recommend Lilies enough. We’ve just laid my Mum to rest yesterday. Despite the distance from my Mum’s house to ours which is just down the road from Lilies, nothing was too much trouble to bring her over this way to be closer to us.Everything was dealt with dignity from the start and communication excellent. We used Lilies only a year or so ago for my father in laws funeral which is why we chose them again.

Excellent service. Respectful and professional from beginning to end. Lilies were happy to adapt packages to suit the wishes of the family and their prices were excellent compared to others. However, the service was in no way any less than you would of have expected if you’d paid more. Can’t recommend enough.

Lilies conducted my mum's funeral today. The whole process was made much easier by them and I want to thank Nathan and Calum for the wonderful care they took of mum, and of the family. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they're always ready to give help and advice.
